Manyara LakeThe compact game-viewing circuit through Lake Manyara National Park offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.
Climbing LionsDue to the low arborisation and abundance of vegetation, the lions of Lake Manyara National Parc are often climbing trees. This may be also an effect of noisy tourists.

Giant Tortoises AldabraWhile on the Prison Island, you will see the Giant Tortoises, which are the main attraction of the Island. They were brought here from Seychelles at the end of the 19th century. The carapace is a brown or tan color with a high domed shape. It has stocky, heavily scaled legs to support its heavy body. The neck of the Aldabra Giant Tortoise is very long, even for its great size, which helps the animal to exploit tree branches up to a meter from the ground as a food source.
Stone TownThe Stone Town of Zanzibar is a fine example of the Swahili coastal trading towns of East Africa. It retains its urban fabric and townscape virtually intact and contains many fine buildings that reflect its particular culture, which has brought together and homogenized disparate elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe over more than a millennium.
Full Day Tour Prison Island The beautiful beach is an ideal spot for sunbathing and the clear waters lend to excellent snorkeling. Ride the Tortoises!
